No-Drill Installation

The sunroof deflector attaches to the exterior of the roof using 3M automotive tape. No drilling or special tools required.

Step 1 · Prepare

Clean and degrease the mounting surface.

Check the position of the deflector before installation.

This is a quality piece that fixes the noisy/rushing air sounds when the Escape sunroof is partially opened. Hoping the 3M trim adhesive tape is durable (should be) over the long term. Easy to install but measure all the dimensions front and side to ensure its square on the sunroof opening. The tape is ‘aggressive’ (a good thing) but it can stick before you get the sunroof on its alignment marks. Was able to pull the sunroof off the roof and carefully place it down in one move. Nice unit.
